Chewy Wishes You a Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was my roommate Melissa's birthday and an opportunity to go see Gym Class Heroes in concert for free! So the night started off herding everyone up the 1 to 145th street to Riverbank State Park to wait in line to see Gym Class. Fortunately our good friend Ed had been there early so we could cut most of the line. However, after waiting over an hour after the show had started and still not getting inside we decided to bail and head back downtown to my apt and Melissa's birthday. Sound like a waste? Well it wasn't! The entire trip was made completely worthwhile by the sheer and simple fact that Chewbacca was in attendance and we got a picture with him! It was fabulous!

Afterwards we got to eat birthday cake and cupcakes from Magnolia (the best cupcakes in NYC) and help Melissa usher in her 23rd year of life. Pink cake with strawberry ice cream to celebrate Melissa's love of pink put the cherry on top of a fabulous evening!
